On our way to Dehradun...

We've been pretty busy the past few days and were unable to get to get much internet access. Over the past few days we've finished up our orientation, bought new clothes for me (because Western clothes are too immodest;-), we've eaten LOTS of Indian food, taken multiple autorickshaw rides, run into a few beggars, accidentally walked through a slum, made new friends, and ate a Domino's pizza.
Currently we are in Delhi, waiting at our friend CJ's house eating Afghani chicken, chatting and listening to the nearby chants of a Guru's birthday party. We're doing this while we wait for the midnight train to Dehra Dun. The organization that is hosting us booked us 1st class AC tickets, which means were traveling pretty swanky, and a bit safer, which is nice for our first overnight ride to a new place. Jo, the woman I'll be working for, is having a friend greet us at the train station in Dehradun. We'll be brought to our new home, given some time to rest, and then we're off for a short tour around town. Monday we'll be brought to work.

Some fun things so far:
-Our new friend Rupa thought we personally knew Will Smith and asked us what we thought of his character.
-We saw our first dirty naked guy walking through the market in Pune.
-Traffic still makes us giggle.
-We've learned about 7 words in Hindi (Hello, Thank you, No, & Yes, straight, left and right).
-We saw some camels on our way to the airport, and have seen lots of cows and waterbufflo stopping traffic.

That's it from me.
Love to all,
