Over at EICS I’m doing some play art with the 1-5 year olds. We made some homemade play dough, which several children tried to eat, and used some of my stencils on newspaper. It’s neat watching the kids pick up language as they get some new vocabulary exposure over an art lesson. We were thrilled when some of the little ones started to identify shapes on their own after coloring in each stencil.
