So I was asked to come up with a variety of ways to create props and puppets centered on the theme of the month “Community Helpers”. This includes people like doctors, mailmen, barbers, and anyone else the children might come in contact with in their community. All of the materials we used were recycled; see if you can pick out what we used for each project. I have to admit the “barber” puppets look a little gory in my pictures, but the kids had fun making masks of themselves and fake scissors to cut their hair.
