Bumming around in Delhi

Our last few days with Kristin, Derek and Lisa we bummed around in the Grand Godwin watching movies, checking email and napping. It was just too darn hot to head outside. We did go out for short walks in the morning, and then went out later in the evening to Canought Place and Dilli Haat. On one of our final evenings we went to a swanky place called QBA (Cuba) and enjoyed a delicious meal of Mediterranean appetizers, pizzas, and Chinese food.
It felt a bit silly to stay inside for most of our time in Delhi, but there was nothing about the daily weather that encouraged us to spend it outside and so we were satisfied with resting up before parting ways.
Wednesday night Will and I brought Derek and Kristin to the airport. We had an amazing journey with them and we all agreed that we traveled well together and should plan for our next trip as soon as we can. We might stick closer to home though, and the Florida Keys came up for next year.
Thursday morning we had our last meal with Lisa and said our goodbyes. She is heading off to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, which is quite an extensive travel list. I am going to miss her very much as we have become good friends over these past 2 months. It was nice having another gal pal around to wrap up my work with and I'm sure we will keep in touch over the years to come.
Yesterday morning Will and I headed to the airport to fly off to Goa where we are currently staying at the Siolim House.
