Well, we spent out last day in India in the mall and in Colaba in downtown Mumbai. Why the mall you ask? We really justed wanted to walk around in some AC and maybe check out an English movie. We thought about Star Trek, but then I had a camera in my bag which was a huge No-No for the theatre. We opted instead to head out on the local train and go check out some sites around town. We saw the "Gateway of India" along with some other beautiful old buildings. We tried to grab dinner in Banda, but all of the taxi and auto-rickshaw drivers we talked to didn't know where the restaurants we were looking for were located. It began to get late fast, so we headed back to the hotel to pack and then off to the airport for our 2:50am flight to Frankfurt. Currently we are here in Germany safe and sound. The internet is $10/hour which is a bit steep, especially after being used to paying 40 cents an hour in India.
Some funny things are already happening as we adjust back to western life. We have spent the past 5 months learning how to walk and ride on the left side, so now when we try to get out of people's way, we actually get more in their way. Will and I have giggled a few times as we dodge the new/old system of walking and moving around. We also passed a salad bar in the food court and I said "look Will, they have lettuce!". Haven't seen that in a while. Lastly it's always a joy to go through security with Will's new Sruti box, and folks have no idea what to make of it in the security check. Will needed to take it out and play it a little so that the guards knew what it was. That always gets a few smiles too as they wave us along. Well, I should let Will check his email. We'll write more when we settle into Denmark later this evening.

a sruti box is like a harmonium only smaller, and minus the keyboard. it's kind of like droan box. will got it in delhi after quite a bit of hunting around.
