CVT Paper Mache

We continue to work on our paper mache products over at the College of Vocational Training. They've actually got quite a lot of stuff over there now. We've decided to call these products a Collaberative Arts Project. First because just about every child is involved, but also because we are realizing more and more that these students need some help with adding final touches and details to each project. I've been asked to come up with some simple design ideas that the staff and students can continue to copy after I am gone. It's fun to see the kids making color choices though, they do this not only to put down the base color, but also as they color in the lines of some of the details on masks to create facial features.

Recently we've been talking about candles again. This is a tricky area as so many other organizations like ours in the area make candles. Its an easy product for these young adults to make, but how do we get our items to stand out from the crowd. I'm researching this as well and came acroos a website called www.candlehelp.com. This website is awesome because it had large pictures of each step of each project. If you're into candle making, check this site out!
