This past week our friend Namdol (2nd from right in top picture) sent our dear friends Rebecca (1st on left in top picture) and Tareq (1st on right in top picture) off with a Tibetan/Indian feast created by one of the school cooks. I forgot to take a picture of the buffet table in the next bedroom, but it was a huge spread with enough food to feed 5 times as many friends who were there. We had all kinds of lovely dishes including one of my most favorites...MoMo's (fried Tibetan Dumplings). Tareq and Rebecca were the ones who went to Chandigarh with us. They have become dear friends and we will truly miss their company here. Currently Rebecca is up in Nepal trekking around the Himalayan mountains, while Tareq is making is way back to Switzerland by way of Mumbai where some family friends live. Will and I are hoping to visit Tareq in Switzerland during our 2 and 1/2 week layover in Frankfurt, where we will also be heading up to Denmark to visit some of Will's friends from school.
